IB Milwaukee was established in 1952 for the express purpose of providing employment for the blind and visually impaired. Over the years we have provided opportunities for independence, skill development and improved quality of life for hundreds of blind men and women through the creation of meaningful jobs. We are a self-sustaining, not-for-profit organization. We receive no state or federal funding.
Our products, which include a complete line of high-quality writing instruments, in addition to Cedar lake Series DVDs, are produced in a modern, automated 100,000 sq. ft. plant in Milwaukee, and in a satellite assembly facility in Janesville, Wisconsin.
IB Milwaukee products are produced in high volume using state-of-the-art assembly equipment specially adapted for use by blind operators and sold throughout the world. To ensure the highest quality, every facet of our manufacturing is reviewed and updated every 2 years in accordance with stringent ISO 9001 guidelines. |
