"Your Alzheimer’s and dementia DVDs are wonderful! We have not found anyone who has fallen asleep watching them. Even our wanderers will sit quietly and watch them in their entirety. The DVDs take people back to places they have loved; you can see it in their eyes and in the way their attention remains fixed on the screen. We have also found that these programs strike a near perfect balance between sensory stimulation and relaxation. And since groups of 4-6 people can be kept occupied for as long as an hour at a time, they give our caregivers some much needed time for themselves or to catch up on other things."

"Clare Bridge Cottage is a forty-bed assisted living residence that is uniquely designed to meet the needs of people with Alzheimer's disease and other memory related disorders. We have found that many of our residents receive benefits from the two DVDs we have ordered: Armchair Journey's and Awakenings. Our high-functioning residents enjoy the audio and visual stimulation; those in middle stages who are wanderers or have agitated/disruptive behavior often will calm down; and those in the very late stages with very severe cognitive decline often will respond with eye movement to the visual/audio of the DVDs. We would not hesitate to recommend these DVDs to any nursing facility or caregiver and plan to order more in the near future."
